Parents provide a solid foundation to their offspring and socialize them with cultural values and norms. This socialization process is not only what is taught as ‘do or do not do this’; it is mostly what children observe, touch, sense, see, hears around. The stability of children characters took its roots in family basic initiation. It is social integration that ensures continuity and consensus of shared values in the community (Giddens &Sutton, 2017). Building and maintaining peace of spouses through counseling, education to parenting, to human rights, to gender complementarity, to conflict prevention and how to resolve natural conflicts with non-violent appraoches shapes loving family relationships. Domestic violence, sexual abuse, discrimination and other family problems keeps family members in poverty. Social economic transformation is possible where family members are living in harmony. In such situation training them on small business income generation becomes catalyst to changes and if they receive seed capital to finance their small projects, they will join their efforts to succeed. Complementarity of spouses is an assert to rely on for change.

Empowerment refers to the process of building capacity emotionally, socially and economically which aims to develop and promote the family’s well-being. This is done through individual, peer group and home-based counseling. Not only that they are trained to discover the family strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that would be used to the advantage of solving and or managing amicably their problems. To build their economic positive change, they are trained to saving and loan use in order to start small business. AB support them financially to enhance their ability of starting businesses . They meet once a month to share testimonies and progress of their business and they are also visited for guidance once a week.

One of the strategies AB uses for women’s social and economic transformation is community group of saving and loan use. This culture of cooperation brings a holistic transformation leaded by locals. It is a powerful approach that has unlocked the knowledge and skills of people to plan and master their family positive changes, the engine of development. This group of saving and loan use is also a group of peace makers. After individual, peer group and home-based counseling, group members are trained in small business income generation that would help them to start a business. They meet once a month for peer group counseling and training on parenting, peacemaking, family planning, drug abuse, early pregnancies, child and human rights, share their testimonies of positive changes with their neighbors, they are instruments of family conflict management and resolution
